Foam is commonly used to make this signage due to its light weight and workability. The finished product is treated or painted to customer specifications, and applied directly to a wall or affixed with unobtrusive posts to heighten the three dimensional effect. 3D lettering is effective both indoors and out.

These signs convey professionalism or warmth, depending on the substrate used, and this option may help cement the image you are after. PVC or metal can be engraved to supply a professional look, or wood can help add a warmer, more organic feel. Whichever material is used, the presentation can be left natural, or painted to customer specification.
